Erickson, a left handed uncommitted senior showed well on the mound. It's loose and repeatable and he's clearly added some strength that has contributed to a more fluid delivery. While the FB velo isn’t overpowering, his over the top arm slot gives it some downhill plane at times, and paired with his curveball that has some depth, is a strong 2 pitch mix. At the plate, he showed some bat speed and a smooth stroke in an impressive round of BP.

Erickson, a 2020 1B/LHP, is a 6-foot-0, 170-pound arm to watch going forward. At the plate, there is togetherness with timing to his swing, allowing him to generate 84 mph EV’s. On the bump, the arm works clean up to 74 mph. He will also throw in a 62-64 curveball and a 62-65 changeup. He demonstrates body control and good timing out front on the mound as he does at the plate. We look forward to watching Erickson going forward.
