Dumper, a 6-foot, 170-pound, two-way player was impressive at EBLO scout day. On the position player side, he is compact, allowing him to make contact with minimal holes in his swing. When he gets his bat head out front, his 88 mph exit velocity plays, and the ball gets good backspin. His arm plays up to 83 mph from the outfield; there is arm speed with strength. Off the mound, Dumper was up to 78 mph, locating in the zone with all three pitches. His curveball demonstrated 11/5 break, and he flashed a few that project. He is an interesting two-way player, that should be able to contribute in both areas for some time.
