Dawe, a strong, medium-framed right-handed arm for the Great Lake Canadians was impressive in his start on Saturday. He came out of the gates firing, sitting 85-88 mph while maintaining his velocity throughout the outing. He pounded the strike zone out of a high ¾ slot with a compact but effortful delivery. Dawe mixed in a hard 75 mph slider with tight break which was really effective for him on this day. His changeup is still developing. The two-pitch combination will allow for Dawe to have success, especially in short stints at the next level.
