6/14/17 Tani has added muscle to frame with room for much more at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds. Ran a 6.95 sixty with regular effort and was able to get out the box clean and down the line during game action, using speed to put pressure on the defense. Simple approach at the plate, quiet with small stride, hands work well to baseball, line drive type hitter with good feel in the box. Worked well to stay inside ball and utilize the whole field. Defensively, arm had carry from outfield with top velocity of 84 mph, was online and kept low with proper rotation, also took reps in the infield, confident with glove actions, can refine angles on plays on the run. Solid athlete who has made big strides. The speed, athleticism, and left-handed bat make Tani a prospect heading into the fall. 60-Yard Dash: 6.95 Exit Velocity: 84 INF Velocity: 80 OF Velocity: 84
