2026 OF/RHP Lucas Hamel’s metrics have continued to trend upwards every year we’ve seen him and we also got a look at the Bearcats product on the mound for the first time. The 5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed hitter generated a peak exit velocity of 87mph and outfield throws up to 76mph. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher sat 72-73mph with the fastball and showed the ability to land his curveball for strikes at 63-64mph. Also featured a changeup at 70-71mph. Hamel continues to trend upwards each year and it’ll be fun to see where all his metrics are next year when this Canadian College & University Showcase rolls around again.
