Has some length in forward stride to get into a wider hitting base. Quiet hands during load with a short, subtle move to create separation. Loose, easy swing with a whippy barrel into contact. Gap to gap power. Mostly line drive contact with consistent lift. Hitterish actions. Defensively, light on his feet with clean actions and body control. Plays low easily when on the move. Confident glove hand when funneling ball in. Fuller arm path into high ¾ release. Lowered slot when moving up the middle/in on the ball. Quick feeds on DP ball. Understands speed of the play and doesn’t get rushed. Looks poised to stay on the dirt long-term.
