6-foot, 170 pounds with lean strength in both his upper and lower half. Offensively, sets up in a wide, balanced stance with bend in his legs and upright posture. Barrel rests on back shoulder prior to leg kick. Hands stay low throughout and get into the zone quickly. Recorded an impressive peak bat speed of 76.8 mph during BP. Front side posts up at contact, allowing him to rotate into a high, lofted finish with leverage. Defensively, stays tall in his pre-pitch set-up then works down to the ball as it approaches. Possesses quality size/strength combination for corner INF. Uses a hip hinge while keeping some height in his lower half as he receives ball in. Full arm path with a high ¾ release. On the mound, works from the first base side of the rubber with slight cross action in his landing. Coils into back hip at leg lift with drop and drive type action in his lower half at hand break. Clean, continuous arm action as he gets to a high ¾ release. Aggressive finish out over his front side. Gets extension from his upper half and rotates out over lead leg while keeping eyes locked on target. Competed with a 3-pitch mix and flashed feel for finding the strike zone with all of his offerings.
