5-foot-7, 145-pound athletic frame with a compact build. Switch hitter who can handle the bat with consistency on both sides. LH set-up continues to start wide with upright posture. Creates some rhythm as he shifts weight back and gets momentum going with hands. Stays short/quick to the ball and generated mostly line-drive contact up the middle. On the right side, closed off his lower half a bit more than on our previous look. Holds the barrel in a flatter position as he gets into the zone early and creates some depth in his swing. RH path is a bit more level, rotational than on the left side. Behind the plate, had consistent pop times of 2.09-2.28. Stays square in his set-up while receiving. Rotates upper half to get alignment towards target while coming out of crouch. Moves well behind the dish. Showed a compact arm action and a high ¾ slot. Also worked out on the INF defensively. Continued to show the same short, quick footwork that we’ve seen in the past. Moved well laterally on dirt while maintaining control of his glove hand. Keeps a low center mass throughout fielding process. High takeaway with his arm path after exchange with a low ¾ release point.
