Relaxed set-up with barrel in a flat position on rear shoulder. Closes off lower half after taking a low forward stride. Hands push back with a level load. Creates consistent stretch against front side prior to beginning swing. Shows controlled bat speed with an uphill path thru contact. Could see more power as frame continues to fill out, especially to pull-side. Defensively, moved well at SS and should stay on the dirt long-term. Consistent fielding actions with a dependable glove hand while receiving. Footwork was solid throughout with sneaky quickness. Solid exchange into throwing motion. Low ¾ slot with a high arm path. Exchange and arm strength could improve quickly as the strength continues to come.
