5-foot-4, 130-pound primary left-handed pitcher utilized a high-stack and high 3/4 arm-slot to sit 74-76 mph. Showed feel for a tight 65-67 mph curveball that featured 1/7 tilt. Displayed good sell on a 71-73 mph changeup. The left-handed hitter starts with a square stance and uses a heel-raise to initiate his swing. Demonstrated fluid actions in the box while hitting behind the baseball to register a 70 mph bat-exit velocity. Showcased solid footwork in the outfield recording accurate 79 mph arm-strength with carry. Ran a 4.25 home-to-first time.
1/6/18 Defensively, attacks and plays through ball on ground with confidence and proper technique. Shows considerable athleticism in actions. Presentation suggests considerable potential as defender in accordance with imminent strength gains.
Offensively, initiates swing from slightly open set up and short step to neutral without gaining ground. Solid weight shift, hip turn and separation are present. Bat is on plane early and late with good balance and rhythm. A bat exit velocity of 71 mph was recorded with mechanics suggesting much more to come correlative to imminent strength gains.
On mound, works out of high 3/4 arm slot with loose arm action. Delivery is balanced and repeatable. FB sits 66-67 mph with subtle arm side run. CB at 58-59 mph showed 1-7 shape with moderate depth. CH was thrown with good sell and substantial arm side fade at 60-62 mph.
