The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, open stance utilizing a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Showcased present weight shift into a stiff front side with easy barrel whip through a slightly uphill path. Generated natural pull side lift with an athletic lower half allowing for quality hip/hand connection through extension. Recorded an advanced 87 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. The primary backstop showed solid receiving skills with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.09-2.13 on accurate throws of 73 mph from the crouch out of a high ¾ arm-slot. Demonstrated consistently quick straight line footwork with smooth transfers yielding multiple throws on the bag during defensive evaluations.
