Physical: 5-foot-10, 170 pounds; Average, slight build. 7.35 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Lifts hands with a knee knock leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 71 MPH.
Showcased a long and lean 5-foot-7, 120-pound frame with room to add plenty of strength and fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a wide, even stance utilizing a leg-lift to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated a dominant top hand through the swing with an out in front contact point yielding a pull-side approach during batting practice. Recorded a 64 mph bat-exit velocity while hitting into a stiff front side and ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. The primary middle infielder demonstrated adequate footwork with a quick first step and low center of gravity. Moved well laterally demonstrating range to both sides and a soft glove hand created easy fluidity getting the ball out on throws. Registered an accurate 62 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway.
