Physical: Lean and athletic 5-foot-9, 175-pound frame with present strength in the movements. 7.22 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, crouch stance with comfortability in the setup, utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Was repeatedly on time at the front of the plate with a strong top hand creating plenty of hand speed in the box. Showed the ability to pepper the middle of the field with hard line drives and advanced feel for extension. When contacting the ball above the belt, got easy lift to the LCF gap for extra base hits. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 86 mph per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary catcher showcased solid receiving skills getting the body to the spot first with a soft glove hand showing minimal movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.19-2.28 using short and quick straight line footwork, demonstrated the usage of soft walls and downward chest angles while blocking. C - 70 mph
Wider athletic base at the plate, starts square, and had a small leg kick to stride landing slightly closed. Short to the ball, level path swing, and the barrel is quick out of the zone. Could use more lower half involvement. Exit velocity was 84 mph. Active feet on approach, average hands to catch, and received ball deep. Clean exchange, short arm path, and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot at 68 mph. Behind the plate Napoli had a narrow staggered stance, quick glove to hand exchange, and a short arm action. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 72 mph and pop times ranged from 2.14-2.28. Ran a 7.28 60.
