‘25 OF/RHP Charles Bernatchez continues to be one of the top players in attendance every time our staff hosts an open event in Quebec. He possesses true two-way potential right now and led the way offensively with the top exit velocity (94.5mph) and the top distance (350ft). Comes with a live arm that obviously plays on the mound and translates into the outfield with the top velocity at the position at the event (86mph). Has strike-throwing abilities on the mound and the fastball sat 83-84mph with life through the zone and spin at 2350+. Had one of the best breaking balls at the event with top-to-bottom look at average spin at 2900+ and true feel for it. Highly intriguing talent out of Quebec’s 2025 class who does a lot of things right on the field and continues to trend upwards.

Bernatchez flashed a good arm in the outfield (86mph) which immediately had our staff itching to see him on the mound and he didn’t disappoint. Some strength there already at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds and it was a good three-pitch mix. The fastball sat 80-81mph with a lot of strikes and clean mechanics. The slider was tight with good shape and horizontal movement at 68-71mph. An interesting 2025 to keep tabs on in Quebec as he continues to develop.
