6-foot-1, 185-pound, strong physical athletic frame. Shows to have strength throughout, a well proportioned athlete, already filling out. A right-handed hitting left-side infielder, top tool is his ability to swing the bat. The stance is even at the shoulders, hands are loose at the letters, bat starting in a launched, tilted position. For timing uses a smooth controlled toe tap, gains ground with stride foot and has separation with the hands. The swing is level through the zone, hands work with easy effort, barrel has life out front on contact. The approach is gap to gap, has enough pop to get the ball into the alley’s, made it look easy at times. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph and ran a 4.65 down the line. Defensively, good prep steps, gets around the baseball, momentum moves throughout towards target. The catch is soft, clean transfer into throwing hand. The arm action has average length to it, clocked at 77 mph across the diamond, has enough strength to stick on the left side. Also worked out from the outfield, arm was clocked at 80 mph, from a high ¾ slot, used a step through, gaining ground in the transfer. Projects for me as more of a third baseman at the next level, chance to hit with some power.
Home-First: 4.65
Exit Velocity: 87 MPH
Arm Velocity: INF-77 MPH, OF-80
6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting infielder. Swung the bat very well at the event, tee exit velocity of 86 mph. Hits out of an event footed started, small body drift into the swing. The hands have plus life to them as the path is flat to the ball. Showed pull side pop during the batting practice session. Uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. Ran a 7.8 sixty at the event as that will have to improve as he matures. The glove is solid and the approach to the ball needs prep steps added to it. The slot is low, but he shows plenty of arm strength across the diamond. Interesting prospect as he has a good skill set. Threw 80 mph across the diamond
Tee Exit Velocity- 86 mph
INF Velocity- 80 mph
6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting infielder, showed well at the event. Threw 75 mph across the diamond at the event. The glove is solid, as he made a couple nice plays at the hot corner in the game. Ran a 5.3 down the line on his dig to first base. Improving the foot speed is a must for him this off-season. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The set up is semi-wide with his feet, front foot slightly open. Uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half as the ball approaches. Keeps his hands inside the ball as he gets into contact with the ball. Needs to flatten the path as he matures, top spin on the balls he is hitting currently. Solid prospect with the bat.
Tee Exit Velocity- 87 mph
INF Velocity- 75 mph
