A right-handed hitter, plus pop to gaps. Showed good flow at third base, clean arm, can work around the bag at first as well. Pitched in game 3, clean fluid arm, fastball reached 80 mph, after 4 days of heavy throwing, will be a mid 80's guy here at some point. Look for game to continue to climb. 

Colby Barker: 3B/RHP, (2023) Pilgrim, RI. 6-foot-4, 190-pound. Above average in the box, Barker had an exit velocity of 94 mph. (68.68 mph bat speed average). (21.92 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has a long swing plane, above average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Produced loud contact and found multiple barrels. Aggressive approach. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 80 mph; has a clean exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.6. Athletic on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. In line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Curveball (64-69 mph). Sat with his fastball at 76-81 mph; showed running action and control around the zone with straight movement. (Max spin 2132; Avg 1916). Has arm side control and some action on his flat changeup (70-72). Throws a 10/4 slider that shows sweeping action and around the zone control. (Max spin 1900; Avg 1659).

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Athletic.  Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front.

Pitching:  Athletic. feel delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, consistent arm speed, loose arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, an athletic finish.
