The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an outfield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
82.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
11.8
Home to First
The athlete's fastest home-to-first time in the given event year. Measured from bat-on-ball to foot-on-bag, in seconds (s).
5.56
Outfield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an outfield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
Ethan Santerre: LHP/OF, (2025) Mount Hope, RI. 5-foot-8, 140-pound athletic build. (63.5 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick efficient, had a short swing plane and high finish. He produced some loud contact and found some barrels. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Advanced recorded an outfield position velocity of 82 mph; had consistent footwork, a clean fluid exchange, and soft sure hands. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a quick loose arm action and athletic slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a 60 time of 7.27 at the event. Advanced on the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a ¾ arm angle with a loose clean arm action. Stretch only type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 2149; Avg 2038).
1/31/21
5-foot-5, 120-pounds, smaller, thin athletic frame, actions and movements were smooth. A left-handed hitter/pitcher, showed well for a younger player. At the plate, even feet, higher hand set. Shifts weight back for the load, swing is down to level through the zone, with more of a pull approach, squaring line drives up. The exit velocity was clocked at 68 mph and ran a 5.56 from home to 1st on a dig. Defensively, threw 69 mph, arm action is longer, working from a 3/4 to lower slot. The approach is active, shorter stride, could get out front more on release. Off the mound, worked from the set position, clean lift, inline stride, glove arm needs to track longer, small jump out of the gather. The arm action is clean and whippy, working from a lower 3/4 slot, creating a ton of sink and downward action. The fastball was clocked at 68 mph, mixed in a true turn me over changeup.
