Gianluca Lepore: OF/RHP, (2025) Bishop Hendricken, RI. 5-foot-9, 168-pound athletic strong frame. Solid athletic in the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. (64.3 mph bat speed average). (17.0 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a tight compact load, then used a short controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a level loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 74 mph; showed a clean natural exchange, soft hands, and quick feet. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a long loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 7.35. Raw on the mound, showed some arm speed with a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Stretch only up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Showed strong balance point and downhill shoulders. Lands soft with upright finish. Threw his fastball 68-71 mph; had sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1845; Avg 1729). Had glove side control and early slurvey action on his 1/7 curveball (63-65). (Max spin 1871; Avg 1844).

Was able to create a lot of loud contact and found a couple of barrels. Aggressive approach. Above average from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 79 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and soft sure hands. Movements laterally were quick and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a longer loose arm action with athletic slot. Projectable advanced on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used an over-the-top arm angle with a clean arm action. Feel type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed strong balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1955; Avg 1831).
