2017 Future Games

5-foot-10, 180-pound, solid strong athletic frame. A well proportioned athlete, put together well. Defensively, the arm is his top tool, clocked at 88 mph across the diamond, has serious whip and life to it.  Defensively, the hands are soft, fields out front, works from the ground up. The feet work, move well in transfer, need to get quicker side to side to stick at shortstop, should be fine at third base. A right-handed hitter, at the plate, is balanced throughout, feet are wider than shoulder width, hands are loose, held above shoulder height, with the bat starting in a flat position. The lower half is under control, stride is simple and straight. The swing is down to level to up, finishes with one hand, the load could shorten just a tick, will help him getting on time easier. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 90 mph, and runs ok at 7.20. In game performance, collected a single, with an RBI, made good hard contact in other at bats. Off the mound, threw one inning, is a position player that is in the process of gaining more experience off the bump. At this point is more of a thrower, fastball reached 88 mph, sat in the 85-87 mph range. The delivery is clean, needs to incorporate the lower half more, it's all arm at the moment. Only threw one breaking ball at 70 mph. With work and refining the delivery, velocity should climb, can be a legit two way guy eventually at the next level.

Sixty-Yard- 7.20

Exit Velocity-90 MPH

Arm Velocity-88 MPH

6-foot-185-pound, strong, physical, athletic frame. Put together well, is well proportioned, hands and legs have strength to them. A right-handed hitting left side infielder, the top tool is his arm, clocked at 88 mph from shortstop, works out of a natural ¾ slot, with whip like action to it. Throws are on a line with major carry to them. Defensively, the hands and feet work well together, fields the baseball out front, continues to move throughout. Moves well to both sides, double feeds and turns were good from both positions, projects more as a third baseman down the road. Showed good prep steps and footwork on the pro move slow roller. Offensively, stance is slightly wider than shoulder width, feet are in line, hands are loose with some pre pitch movement to them. The lower half is under control, swing is level to up, could flatten it a bit at the backend. Took a solid round of batting practice displaying above average bat speed, tee exit was clocked at 93 mph. In game performance was good, collecting two hits a double and single. Times down the line were at 4.75. Big time follow, is attending the Future Games.

Home-First: 4.75

Exit Velocity: 93 MPH

Arm Velocity: 88 MPH

5-foot-10, 160-pounds, strong athletic frame, shoulders are sloped and hands are strong, good looking athlete. A right-handed hitter, who was a very pleasant surprise at this workout. The separation is good, gets his hands back, and lower half is under control, has a small leg kick, leading into his stride that gains ground. The tee exit velocity was 86 mph, and his in game performance was good, collecting a single and triple. Defensively plays third, prep steps and rhythm of attacking baseball are good. The hands are soft, gets ball out front, short quick transfer into short quick throwing action. The arm works out of a smooth ¾ slot, with easy carry and more in the tank.
