Kody Fretts: 3B/RHP, (2024) Coventry, RI. 6-foot, 195-pound athletic projectable build. Athletic and projectable in the box, Fretts had an exit velocity of 89 mph. (66.16 mph bat speed average). (21.27 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is developing, shows an uphill loose swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable and capable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 71 mph; has a clean natural exchange, consistent developing feet, and soft developing hands. Laterally, movements were developing and fielded the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a consistent arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.62 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable and capable on the mound, using a consistent arm action he showed developing arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Tall balance point with falling off shoulders. Lands open with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-76 mph; showed slight running action and arm side command. (Max spin 2196; Avg 2094). Has a 10/4 slider (68-69) that shows slurvey action and glove side control. (Max spin 2371; Avg 2289).

Hit: (Switch) Athletic and projectable. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then uses a short stride. Developing bat speed. High finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity, average 83.72 mph. 66.16 mph bat speed average. 21.27 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (IF) Soft developing hands, consistent developing footwork, clean natural exchange. Projectable and capable. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing.
Arm: 71 mph infield velocity. Consistent arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.62 (60-yard).
Pitching: Projectable capable. Up-tempo delivery, some effort. ¾ arm angle, developing arm speed, consistent arm action. Athletic balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

Kody Fretts: 3B/RHP, (2024)out of Coventry, RI. is a physical 6-foot, 190-pound prospect. In the box, the switch hitter had an impressive exit velocity of 95 MPH, with a (71.30 MPH bat speed average) and (24.18 MPH hand speed average). He hits out of a balanced, athletic stance with relaxed hands. A controlled load allows him to hit from a strong position. The bat head takes a long, flat path through the hitting zone, utilizing the pull side during his round. In the infield, Fretts was up to 76 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls, he showed consistent smooth feet, a clean exchange, and sure hands. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.47. On the mound, Fretts uses a simple, easy delivery to deliver a fastball that sits 76-79 MPH with late run. He stacks over the back leg before heading down the mound with good direction. Fretts also showed off a good 12/6 curveball (68-70 MPH.
6-foot, 190-pounds, strong, solid athletic frame, put together well for a 2024. A right-handed hitter, wider, balanced setup. The hands are lose and relaxed at the shoulders, bat having tilt to it. Lower half is simple and under control, with backside drive to it. The swing is level to up, hands are inside the baseball, the approach is from gap to gap, showing enough juice to beat the outfielders. The exit velocity was clocked at 89 mph and ran a 8.18 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, works low to the ground, soft glove out front, moves well to backhand side, secured the baseball easily. The arm action is short and clean, working from a 3/4 slot, clocked at 70 mph. Off the mound, clean, repeatable delivery from the right-side. Quick tempo to it, inline direction, gets out front on the finish. The fastball was clocked at 72-75 mph, showing good arm side sink. The curveball was clocked at 64-65 mph, spin and shape are correct. Good looking strong, two-way player.
