6-foot, 185-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are sloped, has room to fill out. A left-handed pitcher, with a very sound, compact, simple and repeatable delivery. The hands start slightly lower and stay in same spot throughout delivery. The leg raise is under control and has easy effort with it. The separation and arm action are clean arm and he works well on the back side. The ball comes out of a ¾ slot and gets squared up well on release and is in line with his target. Pounds the zone with three pitches, fastball was located well to both sides and was clocked at 78-81 mph and jumps when it gets to the plate. The changeup has natural above average sink coming from a left-hander, spin and shape are good. The curveball has 1/7 break with good spin. Tempo of motion is good and he worked extremely quick in between pitches. Look for the velocity to climb little by little, with his ability to throw strikes, this kid is a high follow for me. A strike throwing machine, has had a very productive HS and summer season.

Mike is one of the top players in the state of Rhode Island. The arm works from a natural 3/4 slot, fastball is 82-85 mph. The feel for the secondary pitches is advanced, curve ball is 70-73 mph and the change up is 72-74 mph. The command is above average, pounds the strike zone. At the plate, the stance is upright, with a minimal load, hands are quiet, hits the ball to all fields. Projects more as a front line pitcher.
