6-foot, 215-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He had a very good day based on what I saw. The skill set behind the dish is solid, the arm strength can improve but all the skills are present. The receiving is soft and he secures the catch. He threw 70 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.0. The bat has an exit velocity of 100 mph, as he leans on it. The setup is even in base and he steps to the ball as the swing is produced. He displays plus bat speed and the ability to center the ball at will. Good looking hitter.

6-foot, 190-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Threw 72 mph down to second base during the catching session of the workout. Pop time of 2.19 as the feet need to continue to improve. Like the physical frame and it projects. The receiving is a work in progress, taking pride in securing the catch is important job for the position. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph, as physical strength is needed. The setup is wide with his feet, uses a toe tap as the ball approaches. The swing is flat and clean to the ball. The hands work free and he uses a 1-handed finish after contact. Would like to see what this guy looks like after an additional 20 pounds are added to the frame. I like his chances as he is a 2021 with a skill set to like.
