Future Games

6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitting infielder. He ran a 7.2 sixty at the event. The frame has a chance to be physical. The approach in the infield is athletic and under control, he threw 80 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The glove is soft and he can handle all 3 spots. I like him as an offensive second baseman. The bat has an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path works and he spreads the field in his approach.

Exit Velocity- 94 mph

INF Velocity- 80 mph

6-foot, 180-pound, strong, solid athletic frame. A left-handed hitting left-side infielder. At the plate, a balanced approach, wider setup, weight sits on backside, hands are quiet and loaded lower. The swing is level through the zone, middle to pull side approach. Squaring the baseball up consistently, had an exit velocity of 92 mph. Showing enough juice to beat the outfielders, chance to be a legit doubles guy at the next level. Defensively, approach is under control, working low and out front, feet move throughout. The arm action is short and clean on the backside, clocked at 79 mph. Showed feel and athletic ability on the slow roller, pro move. One of the betters players in the class of 2022.

Exit Velocity: 92 mph

Arm Velocity: 79 mph

Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.09

6-foot, 185-pound, solid athletic frame, with strength throughout. A left-handed hitting left-side infielder, can really swing the bat, hands are lower, feet are slightly wider than shoulder width. The swing is short and level to contact, bat speed through the zone, driving the baseball to middle to pull side approach. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph, with more in there, could get through finish a tick more. Runs well above average clocked at 4.28 down the line, athletic strides. Chance to be a doubles guy at the next level, competes at a high level in the box. Defensively, threw 74 mph across the diamond, shows to have enough strength to stick on the left side. The approach is accurate, feet move throughout, working low to the ground on the catch. Projects for me more as a corner guy. High follow.

Tee Exit Velocity: 83 mph

Arm Velocity: 74 mph

Home to 1st: 4.28

6-foot, 180-pound left-handed hitting infielder. The frame has a chance to be physical and he has a solid skill set at a young age. Ran a 4.58 home to first at the workout. The glove is solid in the field, needs to keep the feet active during the process. Threw 79 mph across the diamond out of a clean arm swing. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. The setup is wide in base, bottom half is under control throughout the swing. The path is flat to contact, and he accelerates his hands through contact with the ball. Good looking prospect.

Tee Exit Velocity- 82 mph
INF Velocity- 79 mph

6-foot,180-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Had a very good showing at the event. Ran 7.5 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 75 mph across the diamond as the arm strength needs to continue to improve. The glove is soft, the feet need to remain active as he approaches the ball. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is wide in base, bottom half under control throughout. The path is flat and sweepy through the hitting zone. Squared a number of balls up in game play. The ability to stay within his swing is obvious.

Tee Exit Velocity 80 mph
INF Velocity- 75 mph

Body Type: 6-foot-170-pound, longer, leaner, super athletic frame, well proportioned, shoulders are sloped, with plenty of room for future advancement.
Hit: A left-handed hitter, feet are even at shoulder width. The hands are strong, bat starts in more of a tilted position, slightly lower than shoulder height.  The swing is very short and quick to the baseball. The lower half is under, small pick up and put down, momentum goes forward and gets through the baseball.
Power: The tee exit velocity was 79 mph, has ton more in there, approach is more gap to gap. Projects out to have good power to alleys, chance to be a doubles machine at some point.
Run: Ran the sixty-yard dash in 7.72, easy strides and good kick, look for him to be an above average runner at some point.
Offensive Projection: Potential to be a middle of the order type hitter, looks to drive it to all fields, with hard contact at all times.
Field: Worked out at shortstop, soft hands moved well to both sides, quick release with little or no wasted movement. Fields out front, could continue to get through baseball a bit more.
Arm: The arm is quick, clean, whippy, works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 68 mph. Throws were on target, comes out of his hand well.  Look for the velocity to climb over time.
Defensive Production: Projects out for me as more of a corner third baseman, or a physical power hitting second baseman, time will tell where he will land, will be a good one for sure.
