Limestone College Commit, 5-foot-8, 165-pound medium frame with a build solid. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Slightly open stance with a small hand, then used a leg kick to initiate his swing. Showed an uphill swing plane and had high finish. Gap to gap approach. 5/25/19
Medium profile with broad, slopped shoulders and strong lower half. Not a burner (7.81 sixty time) but showed good 1st step quickness and lateral movement in the infield. Balanced stance at the plate with the hands set early off the back foot. A high leg kick times the swing. Showed the ability to lag the barrel at times. Top hand was quick out of the zone pulling the barrel across the ball at contact point. Slightly lofted bat path produced a line drive round of BP with pull side tendencies. Good footwork on approach to ground balls, keeping the head quiet. Loses feel for the glove at point of catch trying to get the ball out quickly. Avg. arm strength will be able to make routine plays when his feet are set.
