Physical Profile/Build - 5-10, 185lbs. Broad square shoulders, muscular build. Slight projection remaining.
Hitting - Even stance at the shoulders. Small wrapping load. Toe tap timing mechanism with a small leg lift and medium stride. Downhill path through contact with a strong level two hand finish. Simple approach.
Power - 92 mph exit velo (Trackman). Occasional loud contact, muscles the barrel through the zone.
Defense - Controlled, stop and start footwork. Fields the ball just inside the left leg and works towards 1B. Packing exchange, gathers the footwork and gets the ball out through a 3Q arm slot.
Arm - 75 mph INF Velo. Some carry and accuracy present.
Speed - 7.53 sixty time (laser).
Delivery/Mechanics - Straight back with the rocker step and rotational balance point above the belt. Drop and drive delivery, lands on line with square shoulders. H3Q to OTT arm slot. Moderate effort in the delivery, falls off to the glove side slightly on follow through.
FB - 81 mph (2143 max spin, 1996 avg spin) Firm FB with straight tendencies. Occasional running action when located to the arm side.
CB - 70 mph (1984 max spin, 1927 avg spin) Some downer action, developing feel.
Summary - Physical build, moderate effort in the delivery. Stuff plays, FB velo should continue to trend up and offspeed flashes occasional plus potential.
