The unsigned senior had one of the better bullpens at the scout day. Has a long, loose arm and creates deception out of a low ¾ slot. Reached 84.3 mph with the fastball, sitting 81-83 mph. Has the ability to spin the curveball at 2400+ and uses that spin effectively (86% spin efficiency) to create lots of movement, -9.4 inches of IVB and -14.3 inches of HB. His most effective offering, however, is his changeup. Out of a similar release point, he creates 13.4 inches of HB and a very impressive -2.5 inches of IVB that differs greatly from the fastball adding the deception he creates with his arm slot. Rude showed us that he is one of the top uncommitted seniors in Saskatchewan.
