5-foot-7, 140-pound utilityman has continued to show growth all-around. The east TN sparkplug can play multiple positions, and has been an above average defender at 2B with good range and solid arm strength. At the dish, finding more consistent barrels as a table setter and using speed (6.96 runner) to put pressure on the defense. Balanced, athletic stance with simple load and improving bat speed.
2B/SS, (2021) Hardin Valley, TN. 5-foot-7, 145-pound athletic frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Had flat swing plane and high finish. Barreled up some balls throughout his round. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; showed rhythmic feet and consistent hands. Showed a short arm action with a high ¾ slot.
