1/27/18 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-79, CB: 62-65, CH: 64-70,
6-foot-2, 190-pound, RHP shows intriguing 3 pitch mix.  Tall, athletic build w/ high waist.  Some present strength, very projectable.  Prototypical pitcher frame.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short rocker step into back foot setting up on first base side of the rubber.  Chest high leg kick into hip drive and H ¾ release.  Uses body well in delivery, maximizes his strength.  Lands slightly open.  Repeats.  Drifts forward at leg kick, creates timing issues.  FB w/ occasional short arm-side run, some heaviness.  Medium downer CB w/ late break, above average depth. CH w/ arm-speed, fade and sink.  Around the zone, projects to command, flashes ability to pitch w/ intent.  2019 arm to follow into the spring, as likely to take a velo jump at some point this calendar year.

6/14/17 - Max FB: 78, FB: 76-78, CB: 67-68, CH: 70,
6-foot-1, 180-pound, RHP used a more uptempo motion and delivery at this event than we have seen from him before.  Worked quickly but stayed well under control and maintained posture throughout his delivery.  Arm action is clean and pretty loose through a high ¾ slot and he finishes out in front.  Fastball showed some run and was thrown for a ton of strikes.  Curveball showed 12/6 to 11/5 shape, while his changeup had some fade coming through the zone.

1/29/17 - Max FB: 78, FB: 76-78, CB: 67-68, CH: 69-72,
6-foot-1, 180-pound, RHP begins quietly with some very controlled movement, builds a little pace into a higher leg lift that creates a solid load at the top, generates some shoulder tilt before heading toward the plate with good alignment and control, strides in line and finishes in a balanced position, gets down the mound well, long arm action comes loosely through a high ¾ slot.  Fastball was mostly straight but showed a little life, curveball had 12/6 to 11/5 shape with some sharp and late movement, changeup had a little fade at the plate.
