6'0, 185-pound, LHH hits from an upright and open stance with some high hands and uses a leg kick and long stride to get himself going.  Hands come down in load and have a tendency to get muscly through his swing, lower half works well, pull hitter had 2 singles to right field in game play and showed some speed on the bases.  Defensively, worked through the ball well, but got a little stiff throughout the exchange and throwing motion, average arm showed some accuracy from a ¾ arm angle.

1/31/16 - Home-1^st: 4.43, Position Velocity:  OF-76, Exit Velocity: 87
6-foot, 185-pound LHH hits from a balanced stance, moderate leg kick trigger with minimal stride, hands start high and drop some to trigger swing, shows some flashes of power and the ability to use all fields, showed some speed getting down the line. Shows solid defensive actions, works through the ball, shorter over the top release with average arm strength.

1/18/16 - 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter hits from a balanced and upright stance with a very high hand position, uses a moderate leg kick with minimal stride, hands come down and load backwards fairly smoothly, showed an inconsistent swing path but a bit of power potential when he got some elevation and extension going, could be more explosive with his lower half but still produced an 87 mph exit velocity off the tee.  Clifft showed solid hands and footwork in the outfield, used a short arm action from an over the top arm angle to showcase a 77 mph position velocity that has room and potential for improvement.  Also ran a 7.01 60-yard dash.
