9/18/16 - 60 Time: 7.23, Position Velocity:  OF-83, Exit Velocity: 77
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHH hits from the same taller and athletic stance we saw from him at the East TN Games, slightly open stance, utilizes that smooth and relatively long stride that seemed to be a little more aggressive at this event, barrel tilt to get loaded, lower half worked well, bat path seemed to be a little flatter than in the past and still showed that little bit of lift, drove some balls toward LCF and hard up the middle. Defensively, played athletically in the outfield while approaching the ball under control and with confidence, worked through the ball smoothly but would’ve liked to see a little more aggressiveness, clean exchange led to a long and loose arm action from an over-the-top slot and produced accurate throws with good carry.

9/18/16 - Max FB: 81, FB: 78-81, CB: 68-69, CH: 74-75,
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHP utilized the same motion and finish that we have seen from him in recent events, slower build up and a quick finish, front side stays closed before exploding toward the plate, only some slight fall toward 1B on his finish, arm action still pretty loose through a high ¾ to over-the-top slot.  Fastball didn’t show the velo we have seen in the past but had occasional run, breaking ball was good with some a little more 12/6 in it than we have seen, changeup showed potential with occasional run.

9/4/16 - Max FB: 83, FB: 79-83, CB: 69-70,
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHP starts his motion slower and build up to a pretty quick finish toward the plate, a fairly high leg lift gets his front hip closed off and loaded, strides and lands slightly closed and drives toward the plate, long and pretty loose arm action comes through a high ¾ to over-the-top release point, powerful finish falls slightly toward 1B but remains under control.  Fastball seemed heavy through the zone and showed some late run, curveball had sharp 11/5 shape and was thrown with fastball arm speed, threw both pitches for strikes on a consistent basis.

9/4/16 - Home-1st: 4.55, Position Velocity:  IF-80, Exit Velocity: 78
5-foot-10, 150-pound, RHH hits from a taller and athletic stance with a slightly open alignment, uses a smooth and relatively long stride that is based on the timing of the pitch and a very subtle barrel tilt to get loaded, lower half worked a little better than at previous events and probably accounted for the extra bit of drive we saw, bat path begins a little steep but flattens out into some lift at the end. Defensively, showed above average footwork and good hands at shortstop, didn’t play through it as aggressively as he’s capable but made every play and produced firm and accurate throws across the infield through an over-the-top arm slot.

6/15/16 - 60 Time: 6.86, Position Velocity:  OF-86, Exit Velocity: 82
5'10, 150-pound, RHH hits from an athletic and open stance and begins with his hands in a very strong and comfortable position, uses a smooth and fairly long stride with a little extra tilt of the barrel to get himself loaded.  Lower half holds him back at times and keeps his hips from creating the separation he needs to add to his bat speed and allow his hands to bring the barrel down into a good slot, steepness in his bat path produces a lot of ground balls and some low line drives, stays balanced and usually does a good job staying behind the ball.  Defensively, showed good hands and footwork as he approached the ball under control and worked through it smoothly, would like to see him be more aggressive getting to it as he often took is time getting in position,  long exchange and arm action led to an over-the-top release point that provided him with very good accuracy and good carry.

6/15/16 - Max FB: 84, FB: 80-83, CB: 68-70,
5'10, 150-pound, RHP begins his motion very subtly with a tiny rocker step and a slow a gathering leg lift, works at a slow pace until the very end of his delivery, gets his front hip closed and leads to the plate, stays aligned and strides directly toward the plate, slight shoulder tilt and some effort contribute to his long and loose arm action from an over-the-top release, falls slightly to the 1B line on his finish but remains athletic.  Fastball showed a little bit of run at times but mainly stayed straight, curveball showed 12/6 shape and has the potential to be a swing-and-miss pitch but got hit hard once when it hung.

8/16/15 - The 5 foot 9, 145-pound prospect posted a 7.19 60 time and had a 76 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively, Osborne shows good arm strength, shows capable hands with fluid footwork, average arm strength with most throws accurate. Offensively, Osborne shows average bat speed from the right side and had a 77 mph exit velocity off the tee. Hits from an open setup, has a short stride, average balance, aggressive approach, fluid rhythm, and is a line drive type hitter. Osborne went 0-for-5 during game play. On the mound, the righty had a solid outing. Osborne showed good command of his pitches with a great feel for his very effective curveball which stood out as one of the best at the event.  Throwing from an over the top arm slot with regular effort in delivery, his fastball sat at 77-78mph topping out at 79mph with good arm-side run. Fastball appeared to get on hitters quick and has some downward tilt. His curveball had sharp break that varied between 11/5 and 12/6 trajectory with tight spin and good depth at 67-68 mph that produced several swings and misses.  Also showed a changeup that sat at 70-72 mph with nice sinking action. Osborne pitched one inning giving up one hit and struck out two.
