RHP Britt Fowler (Arlington, 2024) got the nod for the Tigers as they made the haul over to Loretto for a set of games on Friday and Saturday. The uncommitted right hander tossed a strong six innings of work in their game one matchup against Summertown. Smooth and very controlled delivery with easy motor and also shows a lower ¾ arm action, nearly from the hip. Fowler worked in the low-80’s with the fastball as he was able to establish it to both sides of the plate, the right hander dotted the outer half on a consistent basis throughout his start as well. Flashed a low-70’s breaking ball that had great feel and was able to drop it in for strikes in any and all counts. He would conclude his outing with 6 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 1 BB and 8 K’s, with a strike percentage of 70% (58/82). At the plate, was a catalyst for the offensive production as he would reach three times via a base hit, also picking up two RBI’s to go along with it. Solid uncommitted follow in the ‘24 Class in the West Tennessee area that is listed at 6-0, 180-pounds with more to come.
