Lincoln Memorial commit. 5-foot-11, 155-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, lean, athletic frame, some quick twitch.`Was an offensive catalyst for 5 Star Midsouth. Showed the ability to drive the ball with a somewhat uphill swing, aggressive with quick hands. When needed to cut down the swing and went with a more line drive swing, looking to just put the ball in play. Defensively, smooth action, quick feet, more than enough arm to stick on the left-side.
9/18/20
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound middle infielder has made some solid strides since last fall to maintain his rank in the 21’ class. Medium, athletic frame with improved physicality overall. Balanced, athletic stance with moderate leg kick and compact load. Generates good bat speed through the zone (Max: 69.7 mph | Avg: 65.5 mph via Blast) w/ fluid uphill swing. Looks to hit the ball in the air while handling the bat well spraying to all fields. Defensively, soft hands with smooth transitions and bouncy feet. Moves well with light feet and sound footwork. Shown the arm strength to stay on the left side of the diamond (87 mph) with good accuracy. Consistently been a 7.2-7.3 runner, so some solid speed in play. Boles finds himself as the No. 6 available SS prospect in the 21’ class.
8/11/18 - 60 Time: 8.03, Position Velocity: IF-73, Exit Velocity: 64 5-foot-8, 140-pound, RHH shows ability to hit line drives all over the field. Short, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, upright stance w/ hand rhythm into knee to knee leg kick and proper load. Still head w/ some barrel feel. Barrel stays in the zone for a long time, lot of line drives when right. Projects to hit as the frame matures. Projectable gap power. Defensively, shows solid hands, learning to play through the baseball and be efficient with his release. Projectable carry to target arm strength.
