Uncommitted. 5-foot-11 185-pounds, two-way prospect, muscular, athletic build. Had an impressive look of Birdwell on the mound at the Adidas Three Stripe Classic. Arm works short and clean to a high ¾ slot. Drop and drive, stays tall, working on-line. Fastball played up to 86, sitting 83-85. Good feel for his offspeed as well. As a catcher he possesses advanced tools with a strong arm and the grittiness to get dirty. Offensively has consistently shown the ability to drive the ball.

Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher, strong, durable frame, gets the most out of it. Defensively, possesses an advanced skill set behind the dish, very flexible in his ankles and hips, allowing for a compact setup, moves well laterally and a good blocker. Strong arm, traditional action, short and over-the-top, quick transfers and footwork, gets rid of it. Threw a runner out from his knees, 2.25 down to second, clocked at 2.02 between innings. Offensively, open setup, barrel starts on shoulder, long stride, wraps on load, remains balanced through contact. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some pull-side pop, barrel has an uphill trajectory through the zone, flashed the ability to drive it with quick bat speed.

5-foot-11, 185-pound, well proportioned athletic build who is very quick twitch. Offensively, shows good presence in the box. Setup is tall and relaxed with an open stance and rhythmic handset. Has a strong positive move forward with and apparent scap load. Launches hands from the neck-slot. Shows ability to get on plane early and stay though the baseball. Projects to be very hard out as he learns to control his forward move to the pitcher more. Behind the plate he showed great mobility and quick transition to an accurate arm. Up the middle he showed a reliable glove and ability to throw from multiple arm angles.
5-11, 175-pounder showed off his catch and throw ability, showcasing his raw arm strength from the OF and showing his accuracy and quick release during the catcher showcase. Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, projectable. Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential. Offensively, hits from a slightly open, very slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into stride to slightly closed and no hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone. Would benefit from getting some type of hand separation to create a better attack angle to the baseball, hands travel a long way. Learning to keep everything in sync, take the same swing every time. Up the middle approach w/ lot of line drives when right. Gap power type w/ projectable pull power as the frame matures. Defensively, presents an ok target for his pitchers, can open his glove more to give his pitchers a better visual. Target can be a little high at times, should set just below a hitter’s knees. Shows ability to stick a breaking ball, beat it to a spot. Athletic catcher, shows a want to block the baseball. As a thrower, shows a quick release, good footwork and easy arm strength w/ projectable carry to target. Around the bag accuracy. As an infielder, shows ok hands w/ ok footwork and carry to target arm strength. As an outfielder, moves well w/ projectable carry to target arm strength.
