Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into proper stride and load. Clean swing w/ some barrel feel. Body control, understands how to use his lower half, shows some barrel feel. Swing works, just needs the strength and experience maturity provides. Singles hitter at this stage. Defensively, worked out on the dirt and as a catcher. As an infielder, shows developing footwork w/ solid hands, projectable arm strength as body matures. As a catcher, presents a quality glove target, though is a high target above the knee, would benefit from setting a lower target to allow him to work up through the baseball. Some stiffness behind the plate, tendency to slightly rise up as the pitch is on its way. Developing mobility. As a thrower, features a solid release w/ ok lower half, learning to get legs to his target. Quick release w/ developing arm strength.
