6/10/15- 5-foot-10, 163-pounds, slender, young build, uses long arm action through an over-the-top arm slot, minimal effort delivery, throws strikes and hits spots well, fastball sat 67-71 mph touching 72, showed a 12/6 curveball at 59-61 with gradual action, also showed a 63 mph changeup, has a good idea on the mound and should continue to develop more velocity as he physically matures, allowed a bloop single and struck out two in his two innings of work. At 1B, posted a 64 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Pinkard had adequate hands and developing arm strength with a high ¾ arm slot. Offensively, Pinkard hits from shows average bat speed. He is an oppo type hitter and should improve his offensive game as he continues to get stronger and grow.  Pinkard went 0-for-4 in game play.

7/26/16 -  Max FB: 73, FB: 70-73, CB: 54-55, CH: 55-56,
5-foot-11, 149-pound, LHP uses a smooth and rhythmic delivery that sees his hands drop down and come back up with his leg raise at the beginning, Pinkard stays tall throughout almost his entire delivery and sticks with pretty minimal effort throughout, long arm action comes through a high ¾ to over-the-top slot, finishes very balanced and under control. Fastball was typically straight and was left up in the zone a couple of times, curveball showed 12/6 shape and gradual movement, changeup was a simple change of speeds and faded at the plate.

7/26/16 -  Home-1st: 4.78, Position Velocity:  78, Exit Velocity: 80
5-foot-11, 149-pound, LHH hits from a balanced and even stance and begins with his hands relaxed near his ear, uses a weight shift with an abbreviated leg kick and a slight movement backwards with his hands to get loaded, lower half gets through but back foot tends to just spin, bat path was generally flat through the zone but got steep on occasion and on balls down in the zone, had a double and a single in game play.  Defensively, played very aggressively and athletically through the ball and definitely looked the part in the outfield, good hands and footwork led to a quick transfer and short arm action that produced accurate throws with average arm strength.
