10/13/18 - Max FB: 80, FB: 76-80, CB: 60-65, CH: 63-65, KN: 59
6-foot-4, 185-pound, RHP was dominant in his 2 innings, recording 3 strikeouts and not allowing a hit.  Prototypical pitcher frame, XL tall, athletic w/ some present lower half strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into ¾ release from the third base side of the rubber.  Glove tap and go.  Quick arm, closer to mid 80’s arm-speed which suggest lower half can get more involved.  Extension.  Pre-set back foot with very slight movement in the reset before the drive to the plate.  True FB.  Tight medium downer CB, if it can get into the low 70’s, chance to be a put-away pitch.  As of now, is a steal a strike offering relying on the velocity differential to get hitters to give up on it.  CH was a put-away pitch on this day, arm-speed w/ fade and sink.  Big velocity differential.  KN was a gimmick pitch on this day, buried both he threw.  Around the zone w/ his 3-pitch mix, all 8 FB’s were strikes.  Generated 2 of 4 swing and misses on the CH.  Will be super intriguing once the radar guns and arm-speed match up.

10/1/17 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-79, CB: 63-65, CH: 64-65, KN: 60-65
6'3, 175-pound, RHP shows 4 pitch mix w/ arm-speed.  Tall, athletic frame w/ lot of projection remaining.  Prototypical pitcher build.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ a rocker step to resetting foot to middle of the rubber.  Balance point w/ hip drive and L ¾ release.  Uses legs well in delivery.  Occasional ball tap in glove as coming through.  Some effort in throw.  Quick arm.  FB shows consistent arm side run.  CB is big downer w/ loopy action, best used to steal a strike as he matures.  CH w/ excellent velo differential, armspeed, fade and sink.  Worth seeing hitter’s reactions in game, flashes as out pitch.  KN shows occasional no spin, developing.

10/1/17 - 60 Time: 7.31, Position Velocity:  IF - 78
6'3, 175-pound, RHH shows projectable arm strength, power.  Tall, athletic frame w/ lot of projection remaining.  Hits from an open, upright stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Knee to knee leg kick w/ short hand load.  Uppercut swing plane w/ projectable power.  Front foot hitter.  Athletic movements at 1B w/ reliable glove, projectable arm strength.
