Huddleston doesn't wow you with any over the top tools, but last season he put up some monster numbers leading to a Mr. Baseball finalist honors. He's got some juice in the barrel from the left side and he can really pitch in the low 80s. Upperman expects to be another competitive club this season, and Huddleston's output cannot be overlooked in 2022.
Uncommitted; 5-foot-10, 150-pound southpaw works through batters at a very efficient rate. Strong feel for his pitches and commands the zone. Smooth, easy arm that works up to 3/4 slot. Generates a lot of weak contact off sinking FB at 80-82, which he can work both in and out. Mixes CB at 68-70 with good shape and tunnels well after elevated FB.
