5’11, 170-pound OF showed improvement from a couple months ago, as he continues to refine his CF profile by running a 6.85 sixty and improving his OF velocity by 4 ticks. Medium, athletic frame w/ some well-proportioned lean strength, projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into stride and proper load. Occasionally, got too deep with his load, creating some length. Generates bat speed through the zone. Projectable pull power type as frame matures. Defensively, moves well in the OF w/ short release and projectable carry to target arm strength.
6/24/20
5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 87 mph. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a compact arm bar load, then used a quick stride just before his swing. Bat speed is quick, displays uphill swing plane and high finish. He created some loud contact and found some barrels. Gap to gap approach. Average from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 72 mph; has sure consistent hands, a clean exchange and average feet. Had a ¾ slot and a stiff arm action with some accuracy to the bag. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.06.
