5-foot-11, 150-pound, RHP showed big arm strength in the outfield, learning how to use it on the mound. Medium, athletic profile w/ some present strength, projectable frame. Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short rocker step to first base side and foot reset on first base side of rubber. Near shoulder high leg kick w/ some hand rhythm into head level w/ classic drop and drive delivery and high ¾ release. Good direction to the plate. Can be a little stronger w/ glove-side, comes to a rest on his thigh before following through. Front leg driven w/ some drift in the lower half, back leg along for ride. Just scratching the surface of his velocity potential, back leg drive will be the key. Uses legs extremely well in OF throws, will jump two or three ticks once gets that same leg usage on the mound. Loose, quick arm projects. Straight FB shows occasional ride through the zone. SL is a slurve, moves like a short, downer CB. Flashes late break through the zone. Firm CH shows occasional fade. Around the zone, projects to control. Late bloomer type w/ potential to make a jump quickly.
5-foot-11, 150-pound, RHH showed plus arm strength in the OF. Medium, athletic profile w/ some present strength, projectable frame. Offensively, hits from a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location. Toe tap to slightly open w/ proper load. Hands first move tends to be down towards the ball, creating length and steep bat path. Shows ability to hit line drives and go gap to gap. Defensively, gets his feet under him well and puts all his force into his throws, featuring carry through the target and average release. Moves better in the OF than 60 time suggests. Projects better on the mound, where his arm strength will play.
