6’2, 155-pound middle infielder shows an intriguing projectable frame for a 2023. Tall, athletic, lean, high-waisted frame w/ significant physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ a very slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ quiet hands into stride to square and short hand load. Stride varied, occasional toe tap, occasional leg kick, occasional short stride. Learning how to control his body. Flashes bat speed through the zone when everything comes together. Projectable gap power type at this stage as frame continues to develop. Defensively, shows solid hands and footwork w/ projectable arm strength. On the mound, the righty pitched from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber. Clean, repeatable mechanics w/ intriguing arm-speed as the frame continues to mature. Straight FB. Medium downer CB w/ proper shape. Around the zone with his 2-pitch mix, showed feel for throwing the CB for a strike or bury it. Generated 1 swing and miss on 4 swings while striking out 2.
