(Briarcrest Christian, 2024) a recent Mississippi State recruit from this past fall had a long inning of work for the Saints in their game one win on Friday. Gleason would lock down the seventh inning by striking out the side. Longer mid-¾ arm action from the right side who is listed at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with plenty of room to continue adding size to the frame. His heater worked at 88-90 mph and appeared more firm to opposing hitters as it was located in the upper parts of the zone, generating whiffs. The breaking ball was sharp, and showed some tighter bite at 77-80 mph and his lone changeup offering that had some arm side action was located for a strike at 82 mph. Short stint for Gleason but a good look for our scouts.

Body: 6-1, 165-pounds. Lean, athletic build
Delivery: Controlled tempo with pause on step back. Repeats well. Good direction and stride length. Plus upside.
Arm Action: RH. Loose with whip
FB: T87, 86-87 mph. Solid arm side action and jump through the zone. Lean frame suggest more velo coming. T2177, 2105 average rpm.
SL: 75-76 mph. Solid downward bite and pounding the strikezone. T2366, 2289 average rpm.
CH: 81-81 mph. Good action and sells it out of the hand. Developing command. Maybe a little hard T1609, 1549 average rpm.
ATH: 7.37 runner in the 60. 1.92 and 4.18 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Hit: RHH. Balanced stance, slightly open, with higher hand set Small load with toe tap into stride. Uses leverage well. Level bat path and attacks out front well. Middle to pull side approach.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 82.6 mph. 318' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-81 mph. Loose, quick arm action
Defense: Solid footwork on the infield. Good glove work with quick transfer and strong arm and accuracy on throws. Next level upside.
ATH: 7.37 runner in the 60. 1.92 and 4.18 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
