The 6-foot-3, 190-pound projectable arm has slowly been climbing up the board since breaking into the rankings in September.  Quick, loose arm that works up to over the top slot coming almost from behind righty batter.  High effort, drop and drive towards the plate. In September, Nephew was 85-87 at the LakePoint Fall Invitational and had a strong start going a CG, 12-K performance against rival Riverdale in his only start this high school season. Tremendous amount of natural cut on the fastball, much more in the tank.  Mixes an upper-60s 12/6 curveball with proper shape and depth.   Developing feel for changeup  at 67-70 with mix of fade and occasional cut.

6-foot-3, 190-pound  projectable frame. On the mound, showing quick arm speed used a loose arm action and an over-the-top angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses high effort. Has an athletic balance point and uphill shoulders. Lands closed. His fastball was 82-84 mph w/ natural cut. His changeup (67-70) showed command low in the zone and sinking action. Had a 12/6 curveball (64-67).
