The power hitting outfielder has been committed to Memphis since fall of 2021, but with the changes in coaching staff will be exploring his options heading into his final Spring. 6-foot, 200-lb physical frame w/ lower half strength and quick burst. Wide, balanced stance w/ compact load and quick stride. Generates above average bat speed w/ good rotation (T 19.1 G). Great approach at the plate, as he'll take his walks and look to do damage working gap to gap. Drives the baseball into the power alleys (T 98.5; Avg: 85.5 exit velo) and uses his speed (6.89 sixty) to stretch hits into doubles/triples. Defensively, currently plays CF, but probably slide over to LF at next level. He's only played outfield for little under two years, but does a nice job tracking the ball into the gaps. He's got a short, compact arm action w/ average arm strength (81 OF Velo) that can be improved. Carter is a consistent run producer in the middle of the order and easily one of the top bats available on the board.

The 6-foot, 200-pound 3B/OF has some serious juice in the barrel and great athleticism with a powerful frame. Proportional, frame with present strength throughout and sneaky burst. At the dish, relaxed, balanced stance getting on plane early and often for consistent hard contact. Great bat speed (T 75.8 mph per Blast) and acceleration data (T 19.1 G per Blast) with balanced approach at the plate and power to all fields. Defensively, splitting time at the hot corner and the OF. Can really pick it and handle the glove at the corner with average stiff arm, but tools fit well in the OF as a 6.97 runner and feel for tracking the baseball. Good enough to contribute at both positions at the next level, especially considering the high-ceiling offensively to do damage.

5-foot-11, 180-pound corner infielder put on a show during the showcase BP. Carter hit multiple long balls (Max: 374 ft via Trackman) and gappers with excellent bat speed (Avg: 77.6 mph via Blast) and rotational data (Max: 20.7 G via Blast). Although only a 2023, strong physical prescience and swift powerful runner (7.03 on 60), which stood out considering the frame. In the games, pressed a touch at the plate, not flashing his very balanced approach and lengthy at bats, but considerable amount of juice and healthy cuts. Defensively, played a nice hot corner, flashing some great glove work and mobility with an unorthodox arm path, but accurate and solid arm strength. Carter is a special all-around offensive player, with great approach and ability to pick up extra base hits in bunches, and the chance to be an above average defender in the corners (3B/OF) at the next level.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound hot corner prospect continued to barrel the baseball all weekend. Hit in the leadoff spot, but would look to do damage (while taking his walks). Physical in the box w/ good strength and frame. RHH, balanced, athletic stance with quick load. Great job getting the barrel in the zone for consistent hard contact. Picked up extra base hits in bunches, while going long ball on day one to LF. Flashed the leather at the hot corner, making a diving stop and good arm strength.
