2/3/19 - 60: 7.06, IF Velo: 73, Exit Velo: 86

5-11, 195-pound first basemen showed a huge improvement across the board in his overall athleticism and exit velocity.  Medium, stocky frame w/ well-proportioned present strength, some physical projection remaining.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into short stride and load.  Flashes ability to whip the barrel through the zone w/ bat speed.  Occasional hand hitch creates some length.  When on time and gets the pitch in his spot, shows ability to punish the baseball.  Projectable pull power.  Moves well for his size, has the speed to at least help in LF if necessary, not just a 1B.  As an infielder, shows solid hands w/ long arm swing and carry to target arm strength.

1/15/18 - 60 Time: 7.75, Position Velocity:  IF-71, Exit Velocity: 82
5-foot-11, 205-pound, LHH showed some bat speed w/ ability to backspin the baseball.  Medium, stocky build w/ some present strength, some physical projection.  Offensively, hits from a wide, straight on, crouched stance slightly hunched over and back ear hand location.  Stride w/ little hand load.  Can get too tilty with the shoulders, creating extra length and work to stay on plane.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Pull oriented approach w/ potential for power.  Defensively, has some stiffness in the lower half w/ some length in his release.

1/29/17 - Home-1st: 4.81, Position Velocity:  IF-73, Exit Velocity: 82
5-foot-11, 185-pound, LHH hits from a very narrow and even stance with front shoulder tilted up around his eyes, uses a long stride with a movement back and a lowering of his hands to get loaded, lower half drifts to pull his body forward and attempts to snap his backside through a little late, muscles up with a bat path that usually comes up through the zone but keeps his hands below the barrel, gets tight and cuts himself off on contact, pull approach.  Defensively, showed average hands and footwork at the corner, didn’t really get through the ball, exchange was long and led to a long arm action through an over-the-top slot.
