6'2" 203 lbs. physical build, durable frame.  The Bengals have gotten off to a hot start to the 2023 spring season with a 19-0 record and Webb has been a key piece of the staff.  On this day against Monroe College, Webb earned the win with 3 innings of work, giving up 1 H and 0 ER with 2 BB and 6 K's, in what turned out to be a 5 inning run rule.  The freshman right-handed hurler operates on the 1B side of the rubber and stays there throughout an efficient and repeatable delivery, moving athletically down the slope with some effort.  Coming from a 3/4-high 3/4 slot, Webb worked primarily off his 90-93 mph FB with spotty control at times.  His 75-78 mph slider had short and tight lateral break with some depth and he also flashed a firm 83-85 mph CH with some fade.  Even though he didn’t have his best stuff, he competed well, and in the 2nd inning, he faced some adversity with the bases loaded and 1 out, before recording a K and a F8 to get out of the jam.  On the season, Webb owns a 3-0 record and 1.13 ERA across 16 IP with 23 K’s and 7 BB.
