10/25/15 - The 6 foot 1, 190-pound prospect posted an 8.13 60 time and had a 61 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Brummett shows short arm action, some accuracy on throws, weak arm strength, soft hands, fluid footwork and natural corner instincts. Brummett is better suited at the first base position given the arm strength he showed. Offensively Brummett shows some bat speed and had a 80 mph exit velocity off the tee. Brummett hits from an open setup, has a short stride, uses good lower half torque in swing, has significant pre-pitch hand movement that continues until trigger, has good overall balance, level swing path with a pull approach. Brummett went 2 for 3 during game play.
