7/3/18 - Home-1st: 4.63, Position Velocity: IF-72, Exit Velocity: 75
5-foot-9, 160-pound, RHH shows simple, repeatable swing. Short, athletic frame w/ lean strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into proper stride and load. Short to the ball w/ some barrel feel. All fields, line-drive oriented approach when right. Projectable gap power. Defensively, shows solid hands and quick release, plays through the baseball well w/ projectable carry to target arm strength.
6/13/17 - Home-1st: 4.59, Position Velocity: IF-74, Exit Velocity: 79
5-foot-8, 155-pound, RHH hits from a pretty balanced stance and stays pretty quiet throughout, lower half is more aggressive than we saw back in February, swing plane is flat to slightly uphill through contact, line drive approach. Defensively, showed above average hands but footwork could be improved, doesn't come to and play through the ball aggressively enough, arm action is short and produces accurate throws.
2/12/17 - Max FB: 72, FB: 69-72, CB: 49-52, CH: 58-61,
5-foot-8, 165-pound, RHP has a simple motion with very little wasted movement, small rocker step leads to a solid leg lift that keeps his shoulders even at the top, strides and lands slightly closed but with pretty good balance, slightly shorter arm action hides the ball well before coming through a high ¾ slot. Fastball is straight, curveball had some gradual break with 12/6 shape, changeup was straight but kept down.
2/12/17 - 60 Time: 7.56, Position Velocity: IF-70, Exit Velocity: 74
5-foot-8, 165-pound, RHH hits from a slightly wider and even stance with some very high initial hand positioning in his stance, uses a sudden and short stride with a movement down back with his hands to get loaded, lower half spins to clear his hips but doesn’t generate much torque, bat path is pretty flat with some lift at the end but gets armsy through contact, did barrel up. Defensively, showed above-average hands and footwork in the infield, could’ve built a little more momentum playing through the ball, exchange occasionally used an extra step, short arm action through a near over-the-top slot.
