6/11/19

60: 7.31 OF Velo: 72 Exit Velo: 83

5 foot 11, 160-pound RHH. Medium athletic build w/ proportional strength. Offensively, hits from slightly open, tall stance w/ leg kick and long hand load. Good bat speed generating gap to gap line drives w/ some lift at times.  Defensively, projects as a corner OF w/ improving speed and long, low 3/4 arm action.

Max FB: 78 FB: 76-78 CB: 68-70

5 foot 11, 160-pound RHP. Medium, lanky frame that has proportional strength with good projectability. Pitches from a low 3/4 release with a long, loose, arm action. Pitches from middle of the rubber, starts delivery balanced and crouches into leg drive. FB shows good sink and depth. CB had 1/7 sharp break and tunneled well from the FB. Showed ability to locate both pitches for strikes.

10/1/17 - Max FB: 81, FB: 77-81, CB: 67-68, CH: 75
5'11, 160-pound, RHP shows arm speed w/ projectable frame.  Short, athletic build w/ proportional, projectable strength.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ rocker step into the middle of the rubber.  Balance point, crouch into leg drive and low ¾ release.  Can be stronger w/ his glove side to improve direction.  Slinger.  Quick arm.  FB shows consistent arm side run, occasional bore.  CB is medium downer, inconsistent shape on this day.  Struggles to stay on top given his arm slot.  CH w/ arm-speed, above average fade.  Flashes above average.

10/1/17 - 60 Time: 7.7, Position Velocity:  OF - 75
5'11, 160-pound, RHH shows repeatable swing w/ some arm strength.  Short, athletic build w/ proportional, projectable strength.  Offensively, hits from a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Crouch, shift of weight, stride and load.  Gap to gap type hitter w/ lot of lines drives.  Can get uphill.  In the OF, moves well w/ carry to target from short ¾ release.

9/17/17 - Max FB: 83, FB (76-81), CH (73)
5-11, 160-pound righty showed above average arm strength for his age.  Pitching from a full wind-up, w/ a pause when he takes his rocker step, w/ repeatable mechanics, arm speed from L 3/4 slot.  Quick arm.  FB w/ consistent arm side run, occasional sink.  CH thrown from a higher arm slot w/ good velo differential.  Strike thrower still learning to pitch w/ intent.  High level arm.

12/10/16 - 60 Time: 7.71, Pop Time: 2.27-2.36, Position Velocity:  OF-80, C-71, Exit Velocity: 75
5-foot-11, 147-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and slightly open stance, uses a short stride and nothing more than a slight little bat wrap to get loaded, lower half is active but never truly gets through and certainly holds back his backside from driving, swing plane is very flat but seemed to come around the ball quite a bit as a result of his lower half.  Defensively, showed good hands and average footwork in the outfield, exchange took a while and included a glove pat, arm is loose and slings the ball through a low ¾ slot, also participated as a catcher.

12/10/16 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-79, CH: 72-74, SL: 68-70
5-foot-11, 147-pound, RHP showed a very slow and methodical motion but maintains consistency and produced a decent tempo throughout his bullpen, uses a longer rocker step and pulls his hands up with his leg lift, doesn’t quite get the lower half engagement he’s capable of, upper body posture never really changes as he keeps his shoulder level flat and his head very still in his finish, strides ever so slightly closed but is able to get out and around that front leg upon his finish, finishes tall and straight ahead, arm action is long and slings through a lower ¾ slot.  Fastball showed gradual run and some good velo for his age, slider had 10/4 shape with gradual movement across the zone, changeup had some run but was in the dirt quite a bit.
