5-foot-10, 195-pound 2024 first baseman/outfielder has a developed frame with good strength. At the dish, wide, crouched stance with more compact load and short stride. Shortened swing substantially with initial movement while reaping the benefits of good bat speed and rotational data. Consistent barrels with strong exit velo numbers (Max: 88.5 mph; Avg: 82.3 mph per Trackman) and some pull side power (Max: 314 ft). Defensively, worked out in the OF showing sound hands and transfers with below average speed (7.66-7.84 runner) and below average arm strength. Slots as an offensive corner outfielder/first baseman, who will iron out some deficiencies with improved athleticism and frame as he begins his high school career.
4/28/19
Solid built ‘24 grad that showed long arm action on the mound and an over the top breaking ball with depth. Has a nice foundation to progress with as he continues to get older. In the OF, he was over the top with his throws and the ball came out of the hand well and stayed on line to the plate. Did a nice job working through the ball. He had an even stance at the plate and showed some juice to the pull side. He did tend to get long with the hands at times
