10/11/15 - The 6-foot-3, 200-pound right handed pitcher has a strong athletic frame, woks through a ¾ to high-3/4 slot, arm is quick and athletic, fastball  sat at 85-86mph and topped out at 87mph, works bottom half of the zone well, showed good command of his changeup with good arm side run to it at 74-75mph. Cannon showed a curveball with a tight spin and sharp break that sat  71-72mph. Last pitch he showed was a slider with a 10-4 sharp break to it that sat at 77-78mph. He showed good swing and miss type stuff during his outing with eight strikeouts in three innings pitched for the white team. Cannon committed to Tennessee-Martin following the event.

2/7/15 - The 6 foot 3, 185-pound RHP has an ideal pitcher’s frame that projects well at the next level,  arm is loose and quick, works through a high-3/4 arm slot, also throws a fastball from low-3/4 to sidearm slot, easy effort in delivery, throws a heavy fastball with late arm-side run and sink at 85-86 mph that topped at 87 from the low-3/4 slot, shows a very good curveball that showed  late and sharp 11/5 action and ranged from 70-72 mph,  showed improved feel for 74-75 mph changeup from previous event, big upside and should continue to develop into high-level prospect.

8/24/14 - 6-foot-2, 185 pound prospect uses medium arm action with high ¾ arm slot, can also drop down to the side, fastball was 79-86 with top velocity of 86 coming from the side arm slot, high ¾ fastball showed slight cut while side arm delivery showed arm-side run, curveball was 11/5 with late action, change-up was 73-75 with arm side run and should continue to develop, with size and arm has potential for additional velocity, high follow in 2016 class.
